The Capilano Bridge sits off the north end of the Lions Gate bridge in West Vancouver. It is an integral part of the commute from the North Shore to Vancouver for many people everyday. The BC Provincial Government recently decided fund a $40 million project along with the Government of Canada’s $290 mill infrastructure stimulus fund project to refit a new bridge to ease congestion.

Anyways, I don’t care a whole lot about the politics behind the bridge. What was cool are the time-lapses involved when they temporarily moved the old bridge over so they can construct the new bridge in its place.
